This center is equipped with a performance stage and audio-visual equipment, providing the students with a multi-purpose environment to practice their performing skills. Currently, classes such as English Speech, English Poem Recitation and Analysis are held here to give students a ‘right in the scene’ feeling; in addition, the center can also be used for meetings, seminars, speeches, music recitals, drama performances and movies. |

This classroom is designed to provide comprehensive training in public speaking skills to students. The puzzle-format tables and chairs facilitate peer evaluation, group discussion and training/observation. In addition, the classroom is equipped with internet-reaxdy computers, a high-quality computer projector and a 180-inch large display. Students are trained to incorporate multimedia into their speeches. A stage with wood flooring is positioned in front of the classroom along with six sets of wireless microphones, which can be used for physical training and drama-related classes or activities. |

Up to 25 students can use the classroom for learning or translation/interpreting practice. |

| Professional Multilingual Interpreting Lab |
This classroom has 10 simultaneous interpreting booths and is equipped with a fully-digitalized conference network system similar to the one being used at the United Nations and in the European Union. The multifunction system integrates voice, image and data transmission, and includes 15 language channels. This classroom can be used for presentations, seminars and international conferences, while providing real-time imaging of the speaker, multilingual interpreting, inter-booth communication, distance learning, computer graphic control, remote interpreting and recording for each channel. |

| Digital Lab for Professional Translation | This lab is equipped with 61 computers loaded with software such as Microsoft Office. Furthermore, 23 of the newest TRADOS computer-assisted translation software and L4eDVD multilingual learning software are also installed in the computers in this lab. Students can learn to use the professional software to hone their translation skills and deliver their finished translation works in a professional environment. Students can also use the equipment and software of this professional lab to learn about website translation, as well as translation/manufacturing of a multimedia product. In addition, teachers can use the main system control monitor to broadcast their own screen, or the screen of a specific group or individual to the rest of the class for demonstration, which makes the teaching of translation more effective. |  |
